about

Milk Made Studio began in 2018 while artist Danielle Klim was working full-time as a high school ceramics teacher, and spending afterschool hours in her classroom throwing pots and honing her own practice as a maker. Since leaving the classroom in 2023 to fully immerse in this craft, she has developed a collection of functional ceramic wares in pursuit of both playfulness and ease through the objects we use to curate our homes & lives.
Each design is created with functionality and comfort in mind, with a mid-century modern sensibility. All pieces are primarily wheel-thrown with stoneware and porcelain, and include hand painted surface patterns using underglaze and wax resist techniques. Every piece is handcrafted in her home studio in Collingswood, NJ.

Fun fact: "Milk Made" is a reference to her last name Klim, which is "milk" spelled backward - a nickname she's been given since she was a kid.
